just got a 96 civic hatch that had a y7 motor with a y8 head but one of the kids that owned it before me spun a rod so decided to take the motor out and when he did that he just figured it'd be easiest to cut the wiring harness instead of just unpluging everything. everybody still give's him **** for it.


my question is what wiring harness do i need for this set up? i was thinking i need a 96-98 ex harness since it has vtec but i thought i'd double check on here.

let me know what works with this set up and what doesnt and if you have one for sale or know where to get one at a good price.

go to a junkyard and just pull an engine harness. usually fairly cheap

 

junkyard here said they didnt do that.

 

any pickandpull will. Get on egay and find one. They are everywhere. Or just talk to some of the honda guys in your town, Im sure you know who they are. I bet they have some random harnesses lying around

 

96-98 EX harness will work
