Need Help for Honda Accord 1994 Timing Belt, Tune Up
Honda Gurus,
I have Honda Accord 1994 EX(Auto) with 191000 miles on it no problems yet except that Tranny gives a small jerk while changing gears between 2 and 3 rpm(Not Sure Why
)
.
Not really good Hands on Cars except that I change my own oil, do the breaks, replace hoses and can do tune ups I need your Honest Help I am planning to replace the timing belt can I go ahead and try to change the timing belt
. I do not have any other Car if I am unable to finish it I would have to

Also is there any way I can get an Online video on that if you know any link and I am just planning to change (1) Timing Belt
(2) Timing Belt Tensioner
(3) Balance Shaft Belt
(4) Balance Shaft Tensioner, Cam Shaft Seals
and Water Pump
Will these all be enough and good for next 60 or 70K and will increase the performance and life of the Car.
I will also do a Complete Tune Up and Replace all the radiator and small Hoses.
Need your Help and support ASAP,
regards,
FS

Changing timing belts and water pumps while the engine is still in the car is pretty difficult, especially if you have limited wrenching experience. If you don't have another car to use if you can't finish or if you run into a problem, I wouldn't recommend trying it yourself.
Good link to check out:

191k you need to do it all.
and by all:
cam seal
crank seal
balance shaft seal
oil housing o-ring
water pump
tensioner
all belts of course.
and grab a retainer from the dealer. the balance shaft seal tends to push out on the earlier F's
i'm assuming now you have a funny look on your face about the oil housing. go to a honda parts website and look up the diagram. the rear balance shaft is geared inside a housing. it is not the oil pump. the o ring on them is rarely changed by typical shops. if you have a leak now that is where it is coming from.
the tbelt job itself is not fun for someone going in blind. the F/H series is the most complicated honda belt and may push your patience. do plenty of reading on that specific motor first.
you need to get a good flush done on the tranny. i would also recommend a proper injection cleaning. no in tank garbage.
good for doing the hoses. the small bypass hoses like to split. also, i'm willing to bet your dist is leaking on the heater hose off the head. if so, it isn't the oring, it is the shaft seal in the dist. you can either replace the dist or obtain a seal to fix it. now would be the time as the oil softens the hose and that is the one that kills people engines.

As for the car jerking a little bit when changing gears, it is quite normal for it to jerk a little. These AT transmissions are pretty notorious for being a little jerky. But, it could also be a motor mount problem in my experience.
As for a video? Probably not but there are complete manuals you can buy at a local parts store or at Honda. Good luck.
EDIT- Don't forget to change out the transmission fluid with genuine Honda fluid, should help with the jerk you feel.

Thanks all fellows!!!
actually I have a Honda Repair Manual as well but I am not sure yet and reluctant to start it by myself also I bought the car at 169000 now it has almost 191000 still drives strong and tight but no previous record or history available so should I keep on driving it like that I am planning for a Full Tune Up and Timing Belt But not

For get to ask one more thing can I use SeaFoam in my Motor, Fuel Tank and Brake Booster Vaccum or I should not because of high Mileage and risk of leak???
