Default Bumper protection

So I will be bringing my car into a city soon for school with people that cant parallel park to save their life...ive seen guy spend the better part of 5 min trying to "shoehorn" their H2 into a spot that could fit a bus...im not kidding its that bad. My biggest worry is that no one seems to care about kissing anyones bumper. People bump cars like its totally normal and accepted.

That being said, I want to do something to protect my front and rear bumpers. Any legal ideas? The only thing i can really think of are toe hooks that stick out a few inches off the front and rear.

For the front i would say get the whole nose bra for ur car so if someone hits ur car it really doesnt mess up ur paint and the toe hooks isnt a big idea i just dont like them!

A bumper cover will only do so much. If someone bumps your car hard enough, the paint will still spiderweb. You just won't see it under the cover. Can't say the same for the rear bumper.

You could back-in to your parking spots so that only the front bumper is exposed. But, really, replacements are inexpensive. You might consider just dealing with the bumps n scrapes until you're done with school.
(not to say that the workplace parking lots are much better, lol)

for the most part, the car is getting bumped at maybe 1mph...basically the speed an automatic will crawl with a little brake. its not much, just enough to really take a toll on the paint after a few bumps. I think a front bra cover would be sufficient for that. Good idea. does anyone know if anyone makes a rear toe hook for a 01 sedan? I know they look retarded, but it looks better than racing stripes in 17 different colors from asshats that cant parallel park

There are adhesive 2" wide bumper strips sold at the major auto supply stores (Autozone, probably Kragen and Peps Boys as well) that are designed for the purpose of protecting your bumper from excactly the potential abuse you want the protection from.
