Default HF crx, d16 swap using HF ecu?Help

I got a HF with a d16a6 swap, and it currently has the HF ECU, is there a difference besides the Redline with the Si ECU? Thanks

I can tell you that I ran an HF ecu when I did my D16Z6 swap and it ran fine except for the redline and the EGR code (motor didn't have EGR valve, all good though). Ran nice and smooth all the way up to 5500rpm and then you want to get another ECU or that one chipped out for higher revs. It runs great, you'll get a check engine light, but runs good and smooth, but cuts you out too soon.

Thanx. The HF Ecu does run good except for the early cut off, thats where the problem is for me and also the CHECK engine light that always appear.

Also, i forgot to mention that i also have the HF tranny on it. Which does make the car still slow, considering i also have the HF Ecu on it still. IT sucks . my best time was 18.5 lol, not a time to brag about. I was wondering with that HF ecu,d16A6 w/HF tranny, is that why my car is still slow? Would the Si Ecu make any difference if i still have the HF tranny on the d16? Thanx!

Hey man I Have a verry similar setup
I have the DX 1.5 block and head (out of my odl 91 DX civic that filped) in my HF (wich blew the motor 38 miles after I bought the car). I have the Si exahust manifold w/o a cat or muffler, and just put on the Si intake manifold w/ the larger throtle body bla bla bla... you know the differences. I Still have the HF tranny and ECU (but i have an Si ecu comming to me in the mail). The motor now has 310 k miles on it and burns oil. I am currently rebuilding A d16 lower end and dont know if i am going to get a z6 head or not. I will be puttin on the Si tranny when the motor is done.

I need to know what the two wires on the bottom right of the Si intake manifold are for... They were not on the HF manifold, But the car seems to run ok without it. The cars idle surges but i think that is the fuel pressure regulator. Also does anyone know if there is a difference between the Si fuel injectors and HF if there is one
