i hot a 91 civic with drum brakes, i got da rear discs ,my ? is can you just use the da ebrake cable?

You need it other wise you will not be able to use your hand brake or parking brake.

 

alright, see i was told to use the 89-91 ex or si ebrake handle, i was just making sure

 

you were told wrong. you only need the 90-91 crx si brake cables if you have a crx. the DA cables will bolt right up and fit perfectly on 88-91 civics, mainly because crx's have a shorter body and using DA cables will drag on the crx.
