ok this is kinda hard to explain i have a 90 ef dx with a 99 gsr swap , skunk 2 intake , aem rail , pretty much stock any way i get to 5500 and 6000 rpm and it makes a loud noise
like its sucking in air and pauses then bout 6k rpm the vtec kicks in so i changed the sylenoid and its still acting the same, so i changed the oil still no difference.. any ideas ?? its also running a b16 odb0 dizzy and b16 odb1 ecu non chipped ran by jumper harness.. i did not do any of the swap on this car i bought it like that

im pretty sure running the obd-o dizzy w/your setup would cause you trouble when it comes to v-tec kicc'n, if you have access to an obd-1 dizzy (maybe barrow from a friend?) try to swap that in give it a road test, and go from there

NO, that will not work, and you need an OBD1 gsrB16 dizzy to match an OBD1 ecu.....
ANd the B16 ECU will not give a GSR the right fuel maps, most likely you are running way lean and could possibly blow it up.

rywire makes all the **** you need to do the conversion, its easier and less headaches than trying to wire it yourself. and you gotta run a p72 ecu, ur studder is fuel cutting out

Get a basemap for a GSR for your OBD0 ECU. You should do it soon, or you might have a post like this soon.

I don't think this is possible. A OBD0 distributor shouldn't work with a OBD1 ECU.

EDIT: Maybe the OBD1 distributor was re-pinned to have OBD0 plugs?
