i'm trying to take off the whole set up of a cigarett lighter from the center console so i can transfer it to another one that i bought that didn't have one.
I can't seem to find out how to take it off without breaking it.
Anyone know how to take it off????

 

The outer shell unscrews..
You might want to soak it in penetrating oil first..

Use a small pair of channel-lock pliers...

 

yeah you see how the square remains..well can you take it out off that part?
cause i want the circle part with the light so i can transfer it to my other console and that square part can't be used.
hopefully i'm explaining it right.
