Need help deciding on new tires
- What kind of car you have (year, model, version)
- What size wheels you have
- How the tires will be used (daily driving, auto cross/track/drag strip)
- What kind of weather the tires will be used in (dry, rain, snow)
- What your preferences is in the trade-off between value (low purchase price and/or long tread life) vs performance
1)1997 Integra LS, Turbo at ~320hp
2)15x6.5 slips
3)hard daily driving use YEARROUND
4)Mainly dry. Dont want to use them in the rain but occasionally I get stuck driving long distances thru it. I have another car for snow and drive other car when I can avoid rain.
5)Id like to have a tire that is right in the middle btw performance, tread life and price
Ive been driving on es100's now for like 40k miles, but I have upgraded my setup and have lots more power now. The es100s didnt grip that well in the first place so with the increased power Im gonna want something stickier. I have been reading through here and cant decide if I want to get a summer or all round tire, especially since winter is right ahead of us. I sometimes take long (400 mile) trips in the car bc of the gas mileage and I occasionally experience rain (sometimes the whole trip), so rain traction is a factor but not as vital as stickiness and treadlife. I also want a tire that has a high speed rating bc I my car frequently sees speeds of 120+. TIA.

Be patient. We are not on call 24/7 to answer questions within hours of when they're posted.
For your car, on 15x6.5 wheels, you can use either of two sizes: 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.
You need something stickier than the ES100, so you should NOT get all-season tires, which will be worse than the ES100. Besides, the main reason for all-season tires is to use them in snow, when you have another vehicle to use.
Since you want something stickier than the ES100, you really ought to get what are known as "extreme performance summer tires". Here are the ones I recommend, in this order:
1. Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec 195/55-15
2. Kumho Ecsta XS 205/50-15
3. Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 205/50-15
4. Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 205/50-15
The main reason I recommend the first two over the second two is that they are significantly lower in price. All offer excellent performance, the most significant difference being that the Kumho XS is a bit worse in rain than the other three. If you go to the Tire Rack website, you'll find a detailed side-by-side comparison test of all four tires:

I went ahead and got the Yokohama s.drive's bc they seemed comparable in all areas and they stood out bc they had longer tread life potential, which is pretty valuable to me. Good choice or no?
It depends on what you're looking for. The S.drive is the replacement for the ES100 and is similar in performance, treadlife, and price. It offers a blend of good treadlife and price, with decent performance. However, if you're looking for something significantly stickier than the ES100 to handle your power upgrades, it's not a good choice.
But you can't get great traction AND decent treadlife in the same tire. The four tires I listed above all offer much better traction than the S.drive. But they will only last about half as long (figure 15K miles or so), and they're more expensive too.
Those are the trade-offs. Your choice.
