Heya,

My car was vandalized/attempted theft on Saturday. They took a tapered drill bit to my door lock/handle on my drivers side and tried to drill it out. I ordered the new parts from Honda today (new handle,bezel and key cylinder). I tried to search for a DIY write up on this year (only found newer models w/ power).


Does anybody have a link or any tips to make this an easier process? Thanks!

 

remove door panel
look inside door on the backside of the handle there should be 2 10mm nuts remove those

then there will be a rod attach to the handle remove that


install in reverse

If you have an alarm with remote entry you can use the sedan rear handles and delete the locks entirely
