Well as the title states I picked up a 1991 Civic Si shell for $900..he told me he just had key and bill of sale but after a trip to the dmv with the vin and plate number. they said all I need is bill of sale and pay the fees to obtain the title. its a pretty clean shell has alot of extras and everything electrical works. The wiring is all untouched! an uncut virgin if I must say haha! its going to be a slow build thread as I work all week and the weekends belong to my girl! so Im gonna do everything little by little when I get time.. as long as eveything goes with my new job.... this should be full of love!!! haha

also Im currently contemplating switching everything I need from my current 91 si daily driver over to this one!! but Im not to sure yet!

the bad:

reg fees.....well not really they arent that bad!!!
driver side seat is torn
missing the rear quarter panels.!

skunk2 coilover sleeves
drill and slotted rotors
project mu pads
steel bradded break lines
momo hub with momo steering wheel
jdm front bumper
extended lugs in front

I already have a couple extras for it laying around..

I have a set of rota slipstreams Im currently redoing... I stripped all the paint off of them and Im going to be paint them black! I also have a da rear disc conversion set up and some fender braces...


as of right now Im looking for the rear panels.. black and grey so if you have any and are located in so cal... lmk!

wasn't this car for sale in the marketplace recently...anyways i wouldn't start building until i had the pink slip in my hand from dmv...just out of curiosity do you want to trade them skunk2 coilover sleeves for a set of mint condition ef Sprint lowering springs...their too damn low for my ed3 sedan since its much heavier than a hatch...!!!

yup it was.... I went to the dmv with the vin number and plate before I went to go pick it up and told them the situation with the shell ... only bill of sale and what not.. they told me its no problem bring the bill of sale, pay the fees and the title will be mailed to me.. so no worries with that! but pm me pics??? possibility I might!! or just sell them straight out. Im probably going full suspension on this one!

 

im not to sure yet I might swap in my fresh obd1 converted d15b from my current 91 si. and my bro told me he would trade my momo steering wheel for his complete d-series turbo kit... Im not too sure! I'll know if Im going to be hired on full time at my new job in the next month or so.. and if that happens its going b16a next month.. if not well the d15b-t looks alot better!!

 

sounds good...the pics of the sprint springs are in my build thread below...they are the blue ones that are matched to the tokico hp shocks...the model number is 1000 and they are for any 88-91 civic and the drop is 2.50F & 2.25R...i just purchased them not to long ago but the problem is that my sedan is too heavy and the drop is a little more then i expected...i just want to trade them for some skunk2 sleeves since my money is being tied up to my new motor and stuff...let me know since im in the Riverside area

i realize it may just be the lighting or something but in the most recent pictures it looks like you have shaved door moldings.

 

your 91 crx si has a d15? i thought all the 91 si (hatch/rex) came with a d16.. and, why do your bumper turn signals wrap all the way around your bumper..?

gotcha. I'm thinking about getting 4 small square fog lights, and putting them in the bumper turn slots (2 a piece) then making 1 of two a fog, and putting an led bulb in the other to have a turn and a fog right there. Reason being, i saw his pic, and the crx fog looks very dim. what wattage are they?

nice ef9 front end nice paint and rims and a nice clean stock interior
and you bondoed the trims...got some gay wheels and the foglights look really bad maybe you shoulda thought twice before drilling holes in that bumper its an ef9 you knowwww

Del sol seats over si's, shaved the moldings, killed the bumper for some fogs, and got some flower wheels? Seriously?

not to hate at all but the car looked cleaner before and u will soon hate that u shaved the side moldings cause of all the inconsiderate ******** that swing there doors into urs, and the rims are off of a old da integra right?

wow............ ok before the new owner thing if you guys read the post...... thats my current daily driver Ive had for over three years I bought that shell for 250 with no interior,wiring,suspension just the body pieces and i put it together with parts I had.... it already had shaved moldings........................ .............. my new project which is the red one in the first post hasnt been touched... no shaved moldings..no del sols in it.... they are two completely different cars.. the reason i posted the pics is Im considering taking all the pieces i need from that car an puttin it on the way cleaner shell!!!

 

too bad your not closer Im selling them for $200 with fresh tires!!!
