Ok, so this might be a stupid question, but I'm just getting into the hatchbacks so I don't know whats what yet. My 1990 hatch has a rubber shift boot and just carpeting, but I've seen pictures of hatches with a shifter console that resembles the CRX shifter console. Is this a conversion from a CRX, or did some EF hatches come with them from the factory? Where would I get one of these? Thanks you guys.

 

I believe your car is the STD "standard" model. Is it a four speed?

Some people have done a whole CR-X dash swap into their cars

 

It came like that for hatches as well, but it was an option.

Its a JDM b16a swap, so its a 5-speed. I'll check and see whether it was an STD model when I head to work. So anyone know where I could obtain one of these? They aren't too rare to find in your average junkyard are they?

 

Yes the hatches had the center console. Yes they are rare and sell for a lot.But good luck finding one. I have a si center piece for sell if you need one just pm me.
