Default Washing engine?

Should I take any extra precautions when washing my engine/engine bay if it's turbo'd? What else should I cover besides fuse box, dizzy?

Can the engine degreaser found at my local autozone damage/corrode any of the turbo parts?

I hope it's not a dumb question.
Thanks.

Becareful not to spray that much water directly at the spark plug holes or cover too. When I wash mine, I don't cover anything. I'm just careful not to spray too much water at the dizzy or the spark plug cover. And after the wash I spray the engine bay with armor all. Comes out mint.

Cover your BOV turbo inlet or the filter, dizzy, alternator, and be careful around the plugs as said above along with your fuse box.

And incase you're really slow, dont wash it right after you got done beating it up.
Extreme temperature changes can crack some types of metals.
