I saw a ftp subframe brace for ek on ebay for $120 shipped.
It looks just like the asr but ive never heard of it.
Matter fact google only has one reference to it and its the same ebay posting. Ebay doesnt even have results for "ftp subframe" search. I found it under civic subframe
Can anyone help?

I myself wouldn't run it but it does look like a decent copy. As with all things Ebay you can never tell on fitment or material make up until it is shipped to your door.

Do you know if an 06 civic with manual windows can be converted to power with a universal 7 switch kit for 4 doors and best place to get these kits in honolulu or better order em from mainland ? Tnx JMV

ps stock soch dx why wouldnt you run it yourself (if i may ask)
Is it a name brand issue or the fact that its unknown?
Or would you rather use beaks for $100 shipped

Only because you or I don't know the materials they are using for this brace. I would stay away from the beaks as well if it's for an EK.

Yeah that shows why the beaks kit isnt ideal for ek's/big sway bars... Hopefully this brace is different.
I asked the seller all the important questions ie material? Manufacturer? Etc
If its good materials i'll buy it and be the first to review it for h-tech
Ps i also came across a brace from KTELLER its the same thing but for $150 its also an ASR knockoff

The ASR subframe brace is made of aluminium 6161-T6
Edit; the ASR bolt are grade 8: 10,9 zinch plated normally

Someone help please!
I got the asr kit in less than 32 hours. No complaints
It came without the longer lca bolts needed. Home depot is closed
And thw d brackets i have dont fit the subframe. My bracket is about 1 and 1/4 inch too short to reach both mounting holes. It fits either top or bottom hole but its too short to fit both at the same time.
The guy at jhp said it only works with the type r and mugen sway bars
What can i do? Go to type r sway? Fabricate a new d bracket/ modify my current one? By an itegra type r bracket and put my 17mm sway bushings in it?

I talked to Charleston Ong the owner of ASR yesterday. Turns out the brace has been redesigned to work without the longer lca bolts. And they sente the old version with the new version's hardware kit.
I'm just going to modify my d brackets to fit the brace.
I'll keep everyone updated

i bought the OBX knock off of the ASR subframe kit with the 24mm swaybar combo and im loving it, fitment was a little tough for one bolt, but nothing to bad, it makes my EK feel so much stiffer in the rear, deffinately worth looking into if you dont feel like spending all the money for ASR
