Default In line "solid state resistors" insted of a resistor box?

I was just wondering if it is possible to use inline DC solid state resistors insted of the huge resistor box found in DSMs? I dont know how accurate the DSM resistor boxes are but I do know I can locate +/-5% resistors. I also dont know what Ohm each resistor is in the box?

Also while on the topic has anyone ran the 2.3 Ohm MSD injectors with a resistor box in a honda?

If you want to do it right, get a injector driver or the correct injectors.

people do inline resitors... if you search for it you'll find it...

*EDIT*

but above poster is correct.

well I could get the "right resistors" but I already have MSD 97lb 2.2 Ohms resistors...

ls_on_boost - what resistors did you go with?

The problem is you'll never really get away from the size, since they're required to disapate a little over 10 watts each. Wire-wound resistors can't be much smaller than the bricks most places sell, and there really isn't any other design that can dissapate that heat in a smaller package.

Your only option is to run the wires & resistor box under a fender or something.
