tein s-tech + SOMETHING
hey,
just wondering what you guys think i should pair with my tein s-tech springs.
im currently rocking stock struts, and am looking at koni yellow or tokico blue..
its my dd so i want something that is in between rock hard and bouncy
if you guys have some ideas or even other things i could add to make my car handle better throw them out, but remember that i dont have mommy or daddy supplying cash haha
ps 1st post ftw

koni yellows if you can spend $450, koni oranges if you can spend $300. the oranges are similar to the yellows on full soft. still a good shock though. if you pony up for the yellows it allows you to upgrade rates if you want to in the future. the oranges won't have any issues with an s tech though.
do not ever buy tokico blues. they are painted stock shocks with even less rebound out back. complete POS shocks if ever there were any

thanks!
all ive been able to find when researching for struts is people bickering over kyb, koni and tokico haha
i would definitly spend the extra money to get the yellows if i can the advantage of changing rates..

i was in the same boat as you last year. had h techs on stock shocks. looked at the koni str.t which is fine for the h or s tech but that's about it. then for $150 more there was the sport which was adjustable and allowed the GC conversion. i spent the extra on the yellows & ran them with the h techs for a few months before i bought the GC package. if you buy yellows they offer a LOT of potential and a lifetime warranty, well the oranges also have the warranty.
