Bought some mint Black ITR rear seats but its missing the circle trim around the seat release, and am looking to remove the circle trim from my other set of seats, and put it on the ones I just bought.

Any ideas on how to get it of with out breaking it, or what is the name of the actual part and part # ?

Tried pulling on, but that sucker is on there hard.

BTW the seats below isn't mine, I just looked for a pic of red ITR's so the trim is easily visible

thanks for posting diagram, just found it and was about to do the same. So if others have this same problem, I found the part on www.acuraoemparts.com and the part is called SEAT-BACK LOCK COLLAR (#3 on the diagram)

Nope, 4 ridiculous clamps on the inside of it holding it on.

I think the only way to take them of is to break it, so i think the best thing to do i order new ones.

Any sponsors/Acura Dealers on honda-tech can get these? or just acuraoemparts.com ?

 

Im also pretty sure they screw on and off. I never incountered one with clips holding it down. Try to loosen by spinning it to the left and if it breaks then just ordered a new set its not that expensive
