Legend Type II Calipers on my Civic ?'s
The car...
94 Cx hatchback, 93 EX front brakes (knuckles, calipers, rotors) 94 Integra LS rear disc swap. 40/40 prop. 15/16 MC
Ok, I think I remember the most of it to make this happen...
-Legend Type II 2-POT calipers
(Mill 4mm off of the caliper bracket)
(modify opening on dust shield to accept new bigger caliper bracket)
The question(s)...
1.)Rotors......?
92-95/96 Prelude, re-drilled to 4x100, or is the next generation lude 96/97+ rotors re-drilled to 4x100?
Would these rotors from Fastbrakes work? :http://www.fastbrakes.com/ProductDet...11+inch+rotors
2.)Wheel clearance...
With the Type II calipers and bigger rotor... What wheel sizes will it clear? My current wheel setup is 15"x7" Will I have to change it up to a 16" Wheel setup?

since you have a 94 civic hatch w/ civic ex front brakes...the legend 2-pot calipers will bolt-on once you get the caliper bracket (stamped 23T, 25T or 28T) milled 2-3mm (or 1/8"). the milled caliper bracket will also work with the single piston itr caliper (stamped 1 7 c l 1 5 v n) & nsx calipers as well.
since there is no 4X100 11" rotor, you'll need to call fastbrakes.com or re-drill vtec prelude rotors.
you won't have to cut off the dust shield on this particular mod, and yes, this will clear your wheels. considering that this 11" rotor/caliper set-up clears oem honda /acura wheels (hammers, blades, 99-00 civic si), you shouldn't have clearance issues; most 15" wheels clear

Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks! I wasnt aware that this setup that Im doing shared some similarities with the ITR caliper swap. Nice to know! Thanks again!
Ill look at prices and see if itll be cheaper to get lude rotors re-drilled, or if Id be better off getting the slotted ones already drilled from Fastbrakes.

Think I might just go with the 11" pre-drilled slotted/dimpled rotors from Fastbrakes. $150 plus shipping for the pair. Doesnt seem too bad. My calipers only ran me $35 for the pair, good shape too, dont think they need a re-build. Pistons went back in when I pressed them in with ease, no hesitation, no force needed. One of the boots has a tiny tear in it though, so Ill replace that one, might just rebuild them while Im at it so they are all on the same page in terms of freshness.
Blah, enough babble. Thanks again for the info roastbeefrichie!

i think you're looking @ the wrong rotors @ the fastbrake website, just wanted to share with you that the fastbrake SpecR Integra/Civic EX/Civic Si 11" rotor is currently $47.50 each (+ shipping).
* btw, $35 for a pair of legend 3-pots is a sick deal man; good eye!
keep us posted on this...post up some pics, good info for future reference
The regular faced (or plain) 11" integra/ex/si rotors are $47.50 each+ship, youre right. The ones I was looking at on the site, though, were the slotted and dimpled faced 11" integra/ex/si rotors, which are $150+ship for the pair.
Unfortunatley for me, winter is here and Im putting my car away for storage, well, today actually lol! Soooo... I wont be getting right into this. If anything, Im gunna re-build the calipers, get the caliper brackets milled, and then paint them, get that stuff all out of the way this winter. Wont get a chance to put them on till spring, unless I end up getting the current house I am looking at... Then maybe soner.
As I get into this upgrade, Ill be snapping pictures and taking notes and whatnot. When Im finished Ill put up my full progress report for future references on this site.
Here's two pics. First one (of caliper by itself) is from when I brought them home. Second picture is after some cleaning. (sorry, crappy cell phone pics.)
