So apparently last night here in my apartment complex someone broke into my 03 accord and stole my gps,ipod, and a cellphone car charger. Somehow they got into my car without breaking anything. My stock alarm didn't go off and the bastards even locked my doors when they were finished stealing my ****... I'm just glad they didn't look in my trunk and find my jl w7, jl 500/1. How do you guys think they got in to my car, I need to prevent this from happening again.

nope I locked it plus it automatically locks after about 2 minutes... a friend mentioned to me that when I locked my car someone could have somehow copied the signal that went from my keyless entry key and then used it to get into my car. Is that even possible?

 

Not if the alarm is even remotely new, "code hopping" has been aroun at least 15 years... And still it would be highly unlikely.

 

only one type of security you should invest on and they for sure won't be coming back anytime soon.
