Default 98 gsr turbo breaking up, safc tuned

-Please keep "Hater" comments to yourself. Thanks.

I have a stock '98 GS-R. Turbocharged it just recently. Right after i'm done filling up gas, i'm in 1st gear right, slowly climbing to 3000RPM, and it like cuts off acceleration for about 3 seconds, then its okay, then 4000RPM, it does it again and so on. Even when i'm boosting. What is that? Really irritated from that. Please help!

Slightly tuned by my brother. We're using an SAFC-II to do it. Also, it's always leaning out no matter how we tune it, it ends ups 17s on the Air/fuel gauge on idle.

strictly on the title this thread should be locked. you are tuning with an afc. right there is your part of your issue. you are very limmited in what you can actually change.

not a hater comment, but you need to look at how you are tuning your car.

many other things are possibly also. plug gap, ign system health. your car will show lean if no combustion happens. (the oxygen isnt burned)

so, you need to start there, and please chose a better thread title next time. ill think of one and change it for you.

I was just having that problem and it was a combination of two things. A new map sensor cleared it a little bit. But then I cleaned and adjusted my FITV and no more instant power loss/gain
