I opened up a thread yesterday on d16zc single cam info, today I need a HOWTO thread/writeup on dropping a d16a6 motor out of a 89 si. A friend of mine is new to the honda scene and he wants to drop his blown a6 and swap in this d16zc im getting prepped for him. If I was close to him I would do it but im not, so is there a thread with easy steps on how to swap? Yes search is my friend but hes not helping me today

Take the motor out... put the new one in. If he can't pull a motor then he might be out of his means for completing a swap. Have him purchase a manual (he will need it anyways). You can't get any more specific then a Honda Factory Service Manual.

 

Well yeah your right, when I swapped in my b series I followed the how-to thread in the FAQ and it 99% similar to what hes doing.
