brake pad recommendations HAWK,EBC, OR AXIS ultimate?
i have these selections hawk, EBC, or axis ulitmate.
i have never used these before but i have heard of them. i dont know how good their quality is.
which brand and models of that brand do you guys recommend and why?
my use:
daily driven,
very aggressive stops,
prefer no fade because of hard stops,
dont care about brake dust,
might care about brake noise depending on how severe it is,
want quality (my life depends on these to work so price is not a factor).

I've never needed anything more than generic ceramic pads from rthe parts store for the street. I prefer raysbestos.
That and a well maintained brake system.
If you MUST spend extra money, just don't get EBC greens. HPS or ultimates will do just fine.

I heard alote of good things About hawk pads and heard that even ebc are better but way over priced. imo autozone generics always pleased me.
I've always used axxis ultimates and I love them. I haven't used hawks before though so I can't give you a comparison, but from what I've heard they are comparable to axxis. The ultimates dust like crazy but I've never noticed much noise.
I have the Hawks up front on my CRX http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HWK-HB218Z-583/ and they are an upgrade from stock honda pads for sure. They do dirty up your wheels a little bit, but it is certainly tolerable and Ive never had a problem removing it. I would purchase these again in a heartbeat.

HAWK HPS Plus brake pads are great for autocross. They work like normal in extreme situations - they warm up quickly and modulate well. For daily driving they seem to operate like OEM. They do dust up at events when used hard.
How you use the car will determine the pads: OEM for normal driving, HPS+ with regular autocross use, a different race pad for track days.
