Default FG Type R interior

I have a complete FG Type R Interior (minus the dash). I plan to keep the front seats for my eg but wanted to know if anyone knew if the rest of the interior would fit in a FG??? the Jdm civic is a hatch not a coupe like our US spec. wasn't sure how much, if any different the measurements are for the rear seats, carpet, and front and rear door cards (i would think the rear seats and front door cards would be pretty universial)??? It would be a lot easier to just find someone with a fg to see if they fit but I only personally know one person with one and they are not within driving distance The reason I am asking is because I am thinking of selling all or some of the interior...what every I can't use (most likely everything but the front seats). I am aware that not many ppl will have any knowledge of this but I figured I'd just give it a shot...any knowledge or help is appreciated.

Is this a joke...? I'll humor a little bit anyway.

A few things to straighten out...

1) The current Type R hatch is an FN2

2) The FN2 is only currently released to the Euro market. I think it goes to Japan in 2010.

3) The JDM Type R is an FD2, and a sedan.

I can't really help you more than that.

I'll buy the shift boot, dead pedal and seats if you decide to sell...haha.

Maybe he's trying to put an ep3-r interior into his fg2.

I don't know. The FN2's interior is much more similar (appearance-wise) to the FG than the EP3 is so maybe he just mixed up his ****.

no i have mixed nothing up...i am aware the type r is a FN2. i said fg because thats the car i would like to know if the type r (FN2) interior will fit into (my fault, should of been more clear). so the only thing i am confused on is if it will fit or not. and to answer fijiblue...no i do not have a ep3...i have a eg. i want to know if the fg and FN2 interiors are swapable? also sorry no dead pedal but the shift boot and seats i do have. i will post something if i decide to sell. i will keep you in mind!

also my fault for saying "JDM" spec...it is actually Euro spec as you said...i use the term JDM pretty losely when speaking about parts that are not US Spec. I may also be able to get my hands on a set of the championship white "19 Euro Spec wheels that come on the championship white type R.

The interiors are not interchangeable. And the FN2 CW wheels are 18 inch, not 19.

NO...once again I have mixed nothing up...the FN2 championship white wheels are 19's not 18's! I was at the dealership looking at the car in person! Trust me they are 19's. I can go to the dealership and take pics of the specs page if you like lol (if you really wanna know that bad). But thank you for the info on the interiors not being interchangable...I was sure everything would not fit but i assumed (and still think) the front door cards, front and rear seats will.

Here is what you may have confused: the 19's are an option...but standard are the 18's (which is probably what you are thinking of). But 19's are straight from honda (non after-market) as an upgradeable option and make the car look insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! so basically if you get the championship white type R fully loaded, you would have the 19 inch championship white type R wheels. I can post pics if anyone wants to see what it looks like!

Its an FN2, it has larger wheels to begin with. It is like putting 18s on a USDM Si.

Very very TRU!! But most Euro SPec cars in general come from the factory with lower suspension and bigger spec wheels than USDM cars...so it was kind of a gimmie that the type r would be no different.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA um i screwed up lmao!!! everyone on here was right about something but not everything (actually K5 was)...K5 you were right...there are NO!!!! 19inch Championship white wheels from factory, only the 18inch that you stated. But there is an upgrade 19inch option known as "rage" wheels (which is what I was refering to) but not championship white...lmao my apologies for the false information. I went and took a few pics today of the championship white type r with the 19inch "rage" wheels!!!

The mix up came because the car that was displayed last time i went was a championship white type r with the white wheels...the spec sheet "wrongfully" stated 19inch wheels. so i of course assumed thats what they were lol! any way here are some pics...not great ones but they will do.

I got to drive it today...INSANE!!! you can really feel the difference with the limited slip out of turns!!! May get one but with a 22,000 pound price tag (about 36,000 US dollars ) I think I may pass this one up dispite the urge!

Because they don't sell.

How many EP3's did you see on the lot? And don't even start with the "Oh but if it had the RSX-S motor".

They didn't sell because people didn't like them. I see two times more 60+ people driving them then I do 16-30.
