help. lsvtec not revving pass 5000rpm
i have a lsvtec crx, its a b18b1 block, gsr head, ls headgasket, vixtor-x intake manifold,jg throttle body, rc 310's, blox type b cams, dc header, hydro gsr trans, 255 fuel pump, stock p30 ecu, stock fuel rail, stock regulator.
my problem is that the car doesn't rev pass 5k while driving. at a standstill, it revs to redline. how ever while driving the car leans out causing the motor to limit at 5k. i have about 35psi at idle(vacuum) and 43psi at idle(no vacuum). my oil pressure is about 30-35psi at idle, tps is set at .501v(closed) and 4.9(WOT). i also checked oil pressure at vtec pressure switch and none is present, but upon removing the pressure switch oil comes pouring out.
i am stumped, and need some help....any REASONABLE suggestions?

i swapped distributors from a known running car, still the same thing. i have an external msd blaster ss coil which has been sitting but was brand new in the package. i have no dtc's other than knock sensor, which i feel doesnt matter.
and you haven't had this thing tuned why? you cant just throw all those parts together and expect it to run. you have a stock p30 calibrated for 240cc injectors, and you at the moment are trying to run 310's. you might "feel" that a knock code doesn't matter, but thats your car telling you either A. its not hooked up properlyl and you will feel a power loss because of the timing not advancing fully, or B. it is hooked up correctly, and your motor is pissed that you're mobbin the **** out of it without being tuned. it may be detecting severe detonation.

I feel the same with D10SiHatch, after all the mod you put it on and you didn't have any thing such as e-manage to help the factory P30 ECU, it will like give you a bigger nose, mouth and small lung. so it didn't help you much with the air taking. because your engine take that much air, and timing just don't advance that much. very soon your knock sensor will need to be change too. so get the most important part change man.

i'm sure i may need this thing tuned. my friend has a b20vtec, itr cams, victor x, itr throttle body, rc 310s, dc header and it runs normal on my p30....any other suggestions.

i have 30-35 psi fuel pressure when i rev it, i have 11.9v going to the main relay, 10.**v coming out of the main relay, and 9.**v at the fuel pump connector. i'm gonna try wire in a seperate relay that gives the pump direct voltage from the battery and just use the main relay to turn on that individual relay.
