Default mini me swap. a6 block with z6 head

this is old but cant find any info. just did a mini me swap. got the head on but i cant use the obd1 dist. from an z6 will not start. but if i use the obdo dist then the car can start. i dont want the dist to be holding by 1 or 2 bolts. i like the clean look with the right dist. cant any one help ?

that writeup says to keep the obd0 dizzy and run an rpm activated switch. don't do that.

do it the right way and convert to obd1 and run a p28.

why not? converting to OBD1 is a lot more expensive than a RPM switch.

well sure it is. but generally doing things the right way is by definition more expensive.

seriously though? if i expected anyone to condone use of an rpm switch i would not of expected it from someone like yourself.. i don't know why i'm even saying it cause i feel like you must know.. but by running vtec to a switch and retaining the pm6 ecu you're essentially just making a fancy noise machine. without the proper vtec fuel maps engaging the solenoid is pointless.

There is a rom for a chipped PM6 that has dual fuel maps and uses the AC relay as the vtec switch.
