damn thats hella bad. so you didnt see any pix of it first before you bought it? 1700 for a complete k20a2 swap is impossible unless its messed up like yours. man, if something sounds to good to be true, its most likely is. hope you get some money back.

I saw his thread before he deleted it, he clearly says motor is good and that it was dirty because it sat outside in the rain for a couple days supposedly... anyway he clearly states that motor was in good condition pulled out of a totaled car so he's a SCAMMER i figure something was wrong for that price, anyway if you lied about the motor you gotta give him a full refund because is your fault not his, and if 93egallmotor needs proof for paypal he could show this it should be enough proof to get all your money back and throw that pos k20 to the trash is not even worth re-building it.

He's being cocky. Here is what you do:

File a complaint with PayPal for "signifigantly not as described" Explain that he sold you a swap that was guaranteed to run and it appears it was just recovered from a lake. In about 10-14 days, they will judge in your favor. Soon after, you'll have your money back. During the whole process, they will freeze the money in his PayPal account until the case is closed. PayPal WILL refund the whole amount to you, shipping and all.

You'll be required to send the swap back by PayPal. Send it back "freight collect" unless paypal states you have to send it back freight paid. It will show that the swap got back to him and he either refused it or paid the freight. Either way, PayPal will see it got to him and they'll release the funds to your account. IF he does not have the money in his account, you will at least have evidence that the money IS owed you in court. LLC or not, you'll get your money. Unless he stated "as is where is" on a PayPal invoice, that won't stand up in court.

If he wants to play hardball, get him where it hurts. Lock down his PayPal account. Immediately escalate to a claim and he's screwed.

Just being cocky because he has an LLC (Limited Liability Corporation/Company). However, all that means is you can only sue him for things that are owned by Midwest Autoworks. Luckily, it appears he's a dealer so here is a lot riding on the line. You can not sue him personally if you paid Midwest Autoworks. HOWEVER, if you paid his personal PayPal, that throws the LLC BS out the window. You then made a transaction with him personally, not with Midwest Autoworks.

i remember seeing that sale thread. he stated that the car the motor was pulled out of was rear ended in an accident, which is the same story given to the OP.

Let's hear it for scamming with a smug attitude on top of it. It's almost like the guy is implying guilt, but simply doesn't care.

Here's what I think:
1. MidwestAutoWorks, you are an EPIC Fail.
2. A Lying Bag of Douche.
3. Worst than a thief cus you blatantly stole from someone and had the nerve to deny it. At least thieves are cowards of the night, you sir, have no shame.
4. Get a MOD in here and perma-bann this *******.
5. Someone should choke-slam your mom for pooping you out and cut your dads ****** off for shooting you in your moms smelly vag instead of flushing you down the toilet or wiping "you" on a napkin and tossing it in the garbage bin.

Good Day.

Someone give the OP some closure. This is ridiculous.
