d16zc info needed

Default d16zc info needed

Ok im getting a motor prepped for a customer, i need the car/year these motors come out of. Tried searching but got me nowhere.

im guessing 4th gen civic but which one, i know its not the hatchback. also where i could get the full gasket, timing belt set/kit

Which one? SOHC or DOHC?
There were 4th and 5th gen SOHC ones AFAIK, but only 4th gen DOHC.

sohc with d16zc stamp. alright than i got it wrong, 4th gen is dohc?

They came all versions all years different markets etc. DOHC isn't limited to fourth gen civics but since your's isn't a DOHC don't even worry about it. If it is an SOHC ZC non VTEC you pretty much treat it like a D16A6, if it's an SOHC ZC VTEC then you treat as a D16Z6.

Alright, so pretty much a single cam d16zc is same as a d16a6. Thanks fellas
