Distributor swap for 1995 Accord EX
My 95 Accord EX Vtec currently has a Hitachi D4T92-04 Distributor. I need to replace the distributor. Can I replace it with a TEC TD31 Distributor? It is over $100.00 less expensive then the Hitachi. The CSK Auto web site says they both fit my car but I want to be sure.

Because it either has a bad coil or ignitor and it is cheaper to by a complete new TEC distributor then it is to to purchase replacment parts for the Hitachi. To answer my own question, since I installed the TEC distributor today and it works great, the answer is yes, they are interchangeable.
