JDM 4-1 Header fitting??
Hey everyone. I just had a quick question that I thought maybe you R owners would know the answer to, so I'm posting it here
In order to get a JDM 4-1 ITR Header to fit on a GS-R, what kinda adjustments or parts should be purchased to make it work? I heard something along the lines of it not bolting up correctly because the end of the header won't connect to the stock cat, or length or ect.
Basically, I just want to know what parts need to be purchased, and what will need to be done to get the header working on a 2000 Geezer. Also, what kinda gains may be expected. Significant? Better top end power after Xk RPM? Louder? HA, anyways thanks to all who reply.

On a 00 GSR you'll just need the same 2-1/2" cat that is used for an ITR with a JDM header. Pre 00 GSRs needed a shorter cat since their B pipe length was comparable to the JDM length exhaust.
You'll need a test pipe or a custom made cat. I offer a test pipe for the ITR's which I THINK fits the 00-01 GSR's. I discontinued them but I think I have a couple left in the back.
