I have a 88 REX DX, I am having trouble figuring out whether the 88-89 SI bumper will fit on my car or not? I have also seen online 88 crx with the 90-91 Si bumper fitted on there. how and what do i do to get the si bumper on my car? help me out peeps!!!

 

88-early 89 bumpers will fit and they're all the same. The bumper supports are different but will bolt right up. 90-91 will also bolt right on, and obviously have a different general design, but have different moldings in the bumper than your 88, and won't look right unless you change the rear, and all the sides.

 

Yup,90-91 on my 88 crx rt now until I finish my original 88 (paint + Bosch foglight install) Works for now,lol. Course,the mouldingz no matchie rest of car,but had to have something on there... Oh,and 90-91 usdm lipz don't quite look rt on 88-89,but doing custom one for mine when it ever gets done!

 

its already been said, you gotta do the front and rear bumpers as well as all the molding. 90-91 molding is thinner than the 88-89. but it will work.

 

thats cool. thanx for the info. So if the front bumpers are interchangable, are the rear bumpers also just as interchangable? I atleast want it to match somewhat......
