I have a 95 civic hatch what would be the best lightweight racing rim for it?

 

what type of racing? budget? there are lots of variables to look at but those two need to be answered before any headway can be made toward a proper call on what you really want.

 

Anything cheap enough to be disposable, which is what wheels used on track become.

With my budget, that means Rota Slipstreams.

 

Enkie RPF1's in my opinion, quality product, lightweight, and IMO they look pretty damn good!

 

+1 pretty much. A good looking wheel thats very light and affordable.

 

im just looking around trying to find some options i think i wouldnt mind spending around 1200 on the rims 16' or 17'

 

tire choices are better in 15" unless you need a 16 or 17 for brake clearance. oz has a 13.5lb 17" wheel. you can an *** ton of 15's between 9.5 and 12.5lb, 16s, well, rpf1 or something from volk will be light

$1200 on 16 or 17 for racing. Are you actually tracking the car or is this a street car. If youre seriously racing on a track $1200 is a ton. Wheels are wear items on track thats why many use Rotas and other cheap wheels.

 

im going to have rims on the street and different tires for the track but i dont want rims to add to much weight to my car
