Get a set of projector head lights and an HID kit. There really aren't many parts required. Its mostly labor and trying to get the projector to fit in the housing properly.

A lot of people run TSX or S2K projectors. At least for ludes. Not sure exactly what fits into the EG housing.

This is by far one of the best mods I have done to my car (for the price).

I just went out and took some pics for you so you could see what I was talking about. These are ebay HID's, they were $50 shipped to my door. These took 10 minutes to install, they are plug and play and install is a breeze. I've had them for over a year and have not had a problem yet out of these. Sorry, these are blackberry pictures so they are not the best quality.

Hope I have helped you.

That's not a retro fit, but if you used those headlights with an HID kit then yeah it would give you similar results. By that I mean you wouldn't get the glare you are worried about.

You can sometimes find the TSX and S2K projectors on EBAY as well. I think I heard the Audi TT projectors are pretty small and fit in the EG housing pretty well if you wanted to go that route.
