What do the A/F's look like? Where both configurations fully tuned? Where the runs in the same gear?

Both configurations were fully tuned and the runs were done in the same gear. A/F's were also similar on both

For a stock c5, it has to be a happy dyno. Maybe that is why they are claiming 450whp on bisi's dynapack with regamasters/go power jeff's kseries motor.

The vehicles all had S300s or AEM EMS' and were tuned to exact air fuel ratios. I even posted up charts of the Bisimoto custom units versus the Bisimoto prototypes to show that custom made headers are superior to one size fit all.

Nikos, Jeff's engine did not make anywhere near 450whp on my dynamometer...and no all motor engine has.

the lower power band look like it wasn't fully tuned out, look like either running pig rich up top or not enough timing, or something like the cam gears was dialed in one graph and the other left at 0', heck the lower power band wasn't even fully peak out either

Thanks Omni-Steve. I wonder why some people love to assume, despite straight forward answers. Testing is not difficult, as long as you have stringent controls and keep variables to a minimum.
It is sad that we are a few of the companies in the scene that would not release a product until anticipated the power production values are met. Despite this, a few "rotten eggs" go from post to post to try and discredit our hardwork. The great thing about companies of our caliber, is that we will always continue to progress, prosper and hit the shelves with new and exciting goods for the masses.
Even in a poor economy, Bisimoto Engineering continues to develop new and improved items for the performance automotive market.
The next few months are very exciting, as we has some amazing products coming out!

So was the custom tri-y designed for the C5 engine also?

Why are you people looking at peak numbers? A dyno is a tool for tuning. Look at the difference between the two. It could read 145whp for the tri-Y and 160 for the Bisi piece(example). Who cares if the numbers seem low. The point is to show the gains.

You guys should seriously consider having a 3rd party perform your testing/tuning.

All you would have to do is remove a few degrees of ignition timing during the pass for the "over priced $1300 header" to make fake test results showing your product is superior to the competition.

Btw, why was one header revved to 8k and the other to 8.6k ?

The gains relative to what a "custom Tri-Y" header? What does that mean? was the "custom header" designed for the motor being tested?

Yeah, or you could just use a drag configuration header.

What good are showing gains if you don't know what exactly is being compared? Apples to Oranges? Oranges to Bananas? Unless an unbiased 3rd party does the test, it's hard to know if what you're looking at is really what you're seeing.

All the top end custom headers perform very close to each other typically. When you see a dyno comparison like the one above where I custom header blows away another, it demands further questioning. If it really did accomplish what they say it accomplished, there should be no problem providing all the relevant data to support it and then there'd be no arguement. In the absence of facts, lies disbelief.
