Default 90 sedan electrical problem?

seems i got a lil problem with my sedan, first problem i've ever had within the year i've owned the car.

first started when i put on a new 4-2-1 header, no name but fits fine...problem is my o2 sensor broke off in my old header due to rust and from being in there since 1990. anyways i got a Bosch 1-wire o2 and popped it in, for SOME reason when i accelerate, it feels as if im bogging out, like the car is going to die, then all of a sudden the rpms kick back up and it takes off. i unplugged the o2 sensor and the problem stopped, still i'de like to know what was going on cuz now i have a CEL for an o2.

the other problem is that my RPM and temp gauges bounce around erratically for no reason, when i turn my brights on my radio shuts off, when i press the brake pedal all the lights dim and the windows are slow to go up. im thinking maybe a ground problem? or maybe i should replace my battery?
