Default 185/75R on Stock Civic CX Hatchback

ExpressTire here in san diego sent me a coupon book, they must of known i need some tires. they have a deal for 4 tires for $90 but the only sizes they have listed are

185-75-14
195/75-14
205/75-14
215/75-14.

i've tried searching but haven't found anything about anyone running a 75 tire on a stock 14 inch rim. the car is just my daily driver so performance and what not isn't a factor, I live in san diego so rain is pretty rare as well even though we are coming in to fall/winter.

The smallest size listed there is still way too large for a pre-01 Civic. Unfortunately, if you need tires, you'll need to look elsewhere for a deal. You don't want to throw the odometer, speedometer, and acceleration off.

Don't be afraid to order tires from internet mail order places like the Tire Rack, Discount Tire Direct, etc. The prices are almost always a lot less than what you can get locally, even on sale. You can get them mounted and balanced at any tire shop, Wal-Mart, mechanic, etc; mounting and balancing should cost $10-20 per tire, but you'll save a whole lot more than that on the price of the tires.
