Default How to Identify a Type-S tranny

Sorry for the noob question, but I have always been a B18C5 guy. I need to know what to look for to identify a Type-S trans, I might be buying a K24A2 swap and the guy says it has a Type-S tranny and I want to make sure since I dont have a lot of K series experiance.

well there is a vin plate on USDM trannys so you can always just run that on like acuraautomotiveparts.org and see what car pops up..... best advice I can give ya since I don't know the casing identifiers for k-series tranny's....
