where have you been the past decade just use your stock engine harness, convert to mpfi and use the plugs that you need from the extra harness if you need them to make your swap work...your gonna make a wiring nightmare just for making stupid decisions

Why are you so mad lol the only reason i can think of why you would want to do this is to be able to hook up an obd2 scanner.. but it just sounds like too much trouble.. Plus, if it was obd0 or even obd1 its easier to diagnose your check engine light, ntm you done need a scanner..

codes can be taken out of an obd2 car the same way you get them of an obd1!!!! im just trying to do that to see how it ends up!!! everytime you swap a b into an ef the idle and everything sucks!!!! so im just trying to do that to see how it ends up!!! plus it dont seem that hard!!! just that i wanted to do it b4 i would take my engine out but right now that i got home the motor was taken apart by my brother so im gonna have to wait a few days to do it!!!

what do you mean by "the idle and everything sucks" my boys b16 crx idles perfect, although it is obd0.. My obd2 b18b idles like **** but i got a obd0 ls ecu and a rigged harness so im not suprised.. i guess what you mean is when u put and obd2 engine in an obd0 car its ildes like ****, but i think theres more to it, and im gonna figure it out.. there just arent very many obd2 ls ef swaps to figure out what my problem is..

well we put a b20v on my brothers rex and the idle would never be okay!!! then we went lsv and samething with the idle!!! changed throttles thinking that was the problem and it only made it worst......

i cant tell you exactly what may be causing the idle problem, but i can tell you its not because the obd0 harness was retained. when swapping engines you always keep the stock harness. only exception being k-series.

haha u are a funny dude... It was a joke, hence the LOL, but the way u reacted made me think u did stole it... Lol jk jk
Let me give u some advice, the key to ur problems is not going cheap on anything. Im running an obd0 ls/vtec turbo with no problems at all. If u dont wanna waste money, why swap it? With ur old swaps, if u did ur wiring yourself, did u make sure u did it right? Did u took ur car to a reputable shop to get it fixed?
