3rd Axle in 2 weeks... WTF?!?!
Hey guys, i got kind of a wierd prob, and i hope that you could help me out.

Im rollin an ED Sedan with an Ls Swap. Motor and tranny. Along with EX hubs, brakes, Ect.
I started getting and axle shimmy while accelerating hard one night, and within a day after that i blew my driver CV into 500 pieces. I decided it would be best to just replace both of them cuz i didnt know how long they had been in there.
Had them in for 2 days, amd the axle shimmy started comming back, the next day my driver axle broke AGAIN!!!

I put a 3rd one in 4 days ago and this morning the shimmiy started comming back...
I put it on the lift when i got to work and the driver axle has a good amount of wiggle room inside the Carrier Bearing shaft... how much is there suppose to be? any?
None of the local parts places can get that CB shaft, i havnt called honda yet but i will on my lunch. Is that my prob?
What could be causing me to keep breaking them? im not running the car that hard right now at all, I cant afford the tires. haha.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Correct. Everything about the axles were right, the clips Ect. But the inner CV broke on both of them.
The play is between the axle and the intermediate shaft.
It seems like the teeth on the inside of the shaft could be worn thus giving it play. but im not sure if thats normal or not.

thants what i was thinking, but im not sure if i want to junk yard it or buy new. i dont know why, but i kinda have issues with J Y parts. especialy bearings, Ect.
Does anybody know a place that makes them other than honda?

the only aftermarket ones I have seen were for 94+ integras and civics.

yeah. i think ill replaced it at the same time as my struts.

I Finaly got around to putting in my B16 this weekend. And when i pulled out my driver axle, it fell apart!!! That would be the forth pair of axles i have broken in the coarse of owning the car. I replaced the intermediate shaft when i did the swap this weekend. i hope that i dont break anymore of them. We will see what happends
