Default intermittent central locking & horn failure.

Hi,

I've owned a 1998 2L Vtec Accord Coupe for the last 5yrs.

Over the last year it has developed the following faults:-

Horn sometimes works, sometimes doesnt.....fuses checkout ok.

Central Locking again intermittent, also sometimes driver side only works and vice versa......again fuses checkout ok.

Has anyone experienced this or have nay idea on what steps to take to rectify these faults?

Thanks in advance

Tony

Sound like a ground problem. The door locks relay and horn relay share the same body ground on 5th gen cars. I believe 6th gen cars should be same. I do not have the 6th manual with me so do not know where the ground is. Usually, the ground is on the side wall of the either driver or passenge side. You may get in there and check all the grounds.
