power steering pumps interchangable?

just wondering if the power steering pumps between the different years were interchangeable on the d-series?

that thread helped me a ton..got a vtec head in a 96+ civic and want power steering? you MUST use 99-00 si pump and bracket..hose still the same though...lots of trail and error on that one...
