alright yeah thats what i thought. i waas just asking about that little pin thing that needs to be removed in a mini me swap.

since the d15z1 block dont have it i wasnt sure if that would cause a problem with a non v head

i have a 2003 ex, have problems with the vtec solenoid, can i just use a LX head better, since no one can find the problem it has,
i have change the solenoid 2 times and i also used 2 different ecu and the same code keeps coming back, the P1259, and i cannot pass inspection which is stupid,
so can i use a non vtec head on my EX civic???

Yes. with an oil control jet in the block and a non-vtec ECU for correcting sensors and mapping.

the reason why im doing this its cause my solenoid isnt working, the code P1259 keeps coming back and i changed the solenoid twice and also the ecu twice,
so i knoe it si not the ecu or the solenoid can it be the pins or wire harness from the vtec??? if so how can i find the pin or the wire to the vtec solenoid??? anyone
