clunkning noise
so when i turn to the left i there this kinda of like click click click noise
like a popping or clunking
and its only when i turn to the left
and i replaced the cv shafts last month so its not that
any ideas
its a 1992 prelude f22a1 engine

I Just searched "Clunking" post title under the "Prelude" archives and guess what .. 25 threads were found. What I'm trying to say is .. SEARCH.

It can be damaged, doesn't matter when you replaced it, probability is low, but IS there. Or installed wrong. >> INSPECT YOUR AXLES << .. its not that I'm angry, its 'cuz you ask without first looking for an answer yourself. How can we diagnose "clunking" over the internet ? .. Be more responsible with your car.

mine is making that clunking noise.. It only does it when i turn left or right... but straight line is fine... i also replaced both axles.. Im tearing down the transmission soon im thinking i broke the differential
yeah if your axles are improperly installed that will happen. yes it has happened to me so im just telling you what ive been through. also the boot ripped. hahaha
ok well i wanna replace whats seen in the pic cuz thats what leaking. and the arm and the balljoint

You need to purchase from Honda.
53010-SS0-000 .. Rack End Set .. ~ $ 50.00
53534-SL4-J01 .. Tie-Rod Dust Seal .. ~ $ 20.00
53560-SS0-003 .. Tie-Rod end (drivers ) .. ~ $ 50.00
Pull old out, install new.

makes sense, especially if you're leaking grease from that area - that seal is probably close to dry. When installing new seal, you have to apply new grease inside the boot, ask dealer what they recommend if they don't supply you with it, you can purchase the grease from Orielys.
