Hi Folks,

I wanna know if someone think this can be done... I want to send my stocker BBS RS outer lip to a machin shop to got them split and reweld the opposite way as simple as widened steelie are made...

Here's what i think

Step one.. this is the lip model in question.



Step two.. have is split in the flat spot that reverse the lip from going in and out.



Step three.. turn it 180 degres to have a old skool steped lip.



Step four.. Reweld it, machin it and get it rebalanced then repolish.



Do you think it worth the risk or is it gonna be more enpensive than just buying new lip. That way im takin my stock half inch lip and turn them in about 2 inch lip.

Yeah, i've seen those allready, My probleme is my BBS RS are in fact Act (Ronal) wheels model ??? identical to the BBS. They are 16 inch with 30 hole And this type of lip is pretty rare and expensive. I allready contact Kodiack for a custom lip and i'm waiting for a price. Anyone know a shop that do widened steelie?

also, i just had a 20" 40 hole hoop for some work equips filled and redrilled for equip 46 hole application.

It was a chore but it came out well.
