Still just not finding this to be real - we need to do something to help the family. I see all sorts of crap here to help people pay bills when they get laid off, need parts etc.

This is Shaun Carlson the guy who started what we all do for a living time to give back.

I don't have much to offer but everything I have is on the table......

Paypal / dyno pass / ill sale a car whatever to help out his mom and dad who know have to lay to rest a son. unreal such mixed emotions

Hello everyone. I just wanted to say thank you to all for the nice comments regarding my brother, Shaun Carlson. It has been very difficult dealing with his untimely passing. And thank you to Whitfield for mentioning helping my family out. A memorial fund is in the works and I will post up the info when I have it. I see the date, place and time of the service has been posted and EVERYONE is welcome to come and celebrate Shaun's life. God bless you all...

he got some mentions this weekend on the nhra telecasts. thinking about it now i can thank shaun for turning me on to the full throttle series. i was a casual fan but started watching it hardcore the season he ran pro stock. he paved a way for some of our racers to join those ranks and be respected as drivers.

I had the opportunity to meet Shaun a few times, aswell as hear all the stories about Shaun taking his offtime at races/shows not to party, but to study chassis, tuning, etc books back in his hotel room..!
Definitly a die hard, that will live forever in this industry.
