When using the cable to hydro conversion kit, it leaves a huge hole in the front of the case of your transmission where the clutch fork is connected to the Hasport conversion kit. Weather and dirt keep getting in to the opening causing dirt and rust, which in turn is causing trouble using the clutch and shifting. What have people used to cover the opening in the tranmission case even though the conversion kit moves back and forth?

 

The stock boot...

 

if I use the stock boot I will have to cut a huge hole in it for the clutch mechanism to move back and forth won't I? It almost seems pointless to use the stock boot.
