Default intake manifold project

this is for a 70 510 with an L20 turbo motor, it originally had ITB's and they were a pain in the *** to tune so im making a new intake with a single throttle body. ID 725cc injectors and most of the hardware is from RMR.
im off to put it all together now!

how it sits right now, having the flanges surfaced then either gonna polish it or anodize.

fab work looks decent but i would have had bigger radiuses or velocity stacks on the ends of those runners.

That's deffinitly my next project. I've been dying to do this for months. Your welds aren't too bad either. Nice work

thanks guys, im learning as i go still. my biggest issue right now is keeping the weld clean and not dipping the tungsten into the puddle.
had to bust out a 1/8 tungsten for this baby because the 3/32 was starting to melt at 200 amps. and i only had a collet body not a gas lense so i'd have to keep the tungsten like 1mm off the puddle otherwise the irregularity of the gas flow would introduce contamination into the weld. being so close to the puddle, any slight movement of the arm would send the tungsten into it messing it up. was definately a trial and i learned a lot.
hoping to have some finished/anodized pics for you guys next week.
