anyone with with experience on crower stage 2 cams???
anyone with experience on crower stage 2 cams??? i know the older versions had a breaking problem but now the newer ones said that was solved already so i dont want to hear anything about them breaking down. if you have or had these cams installed let me know how they worked for you. dyno numbers w/ a mod list would help or just your experience on them in your car with would help. also what degree timing did you set them in?
these are my supporting mods:
jdm b16a motor stock 81mm bore
skunk2 intake manifold'
skunk2 cam gears
aem cold air intake
dc header (i know it sucks but have to pass CA visual legal test when cop pop my hood haha)
68mm professional throttle body
crower valves
crower retainers
crower valve springs
srp piston 11:1 cr
crower rods
micropolised and balanced b16 crank
oem head gasket
itr oil pump
walbro 255 fuel pump
*everything else is all oem honda stock parts and will be tuned on crome

i actually like the 402's and they work well for a b16a.. they have a nice idle too..
they actually made 240hp in my 2ltr engine..

5 years ago I had these cams (crower 63402A-2 Stage 2) on my civic, B16A2 full stock block but with I/H/E, with MSD SCI + ss blaster and AEM cam gears, I rate these upon my experience with 9/10 for performance, but as you stated above I will give them 2/10 for reliability (one and half year later the intake cam broke!), stock camshafts are lasting on DD car since they were manufactured!
But again I don't know if now they have improved their materials, and by the way my dialing was 0IN 0EX.
Thanks
