ef smoking on the inside
so i got in my car to notice that my cluster lights werent turning on so i check the fuses to find an exposed fuse.At first i thought it was crap on it so i forget to turn the car off and it sparked and the inside started smoking it was #8 on the fuses. The fuse had the plastic off of it and it was just exposed so i checked everything and its all fine i replaced the fuse, but i noticed that it had just burnt off the wire and exposed all the copper so is there anyway i can replace that wire and how much damage do you think i did? it smoked from the fuse to the climate control but theyre all functional and lights too. PS i know im a dumbass but im a noob so dont bother posting just to make fun of me.
wow doesn't sound safe. unfortunatly the only real safe way to tell is to pull the dash out and trace the wiring (removing the dash takes about 10 or fifteen mins). my guess would be that it melted all along the circuit (from fuse box to climate control.)
