were the tires spinning? if yes its simple physics. in 1st when they spin it has the momentum to keep the motor revved. when you hit 2nd it is a longer gear, the tires will stop spinning and unless you are moving as fast as the rpms are revved it will bog down to match the wheel speed. dont just pop the clutch, you need to slip it some to give the motor momentum and try to keep the tires locked.
Did you use your trans brake or were you granny shifting when you should have been double clutching?
Was the motor really dropping in RPMs was the tach acting up?
Yes that can al mess with your tune.
Le sigh.

Your launching way too high as well. Drop it down a bit, so that the tires gain traction at some point in first, then you can properly shift to second. You only need enough tire spin to get you going, sounds like your roasting it.

i guess it all comes down to a re-tune and me learning how to drive my car, the bad part about it all is when i swapped my tranns i used a new clutch plate but reused my old pressure plate and throw out bearing witch was not the best of ideas, so i really cant slam my gears it just drivable, and can i ask a noob question in driveing my car, i work well with them but i havent drove a 5speed (exepcte a bike) in 4 years, how to double clutch once if throw a new clutch set-up in there.
the car came with this 6500 pre set and it seemed to hook and throw you got the gate befor with a ex tranns but now with long gears its like blahhh , i guess the tune is were its at. and yes the tires were roasting out the gate then bam dropped to 1k and turtle walked down 2nd and then blew a charge pipe in 3rd lol my run was a 18 flate lol. no 20. lol
thanks all dam it i need a tune , anyone tune on crome or something by set-up info like base maps???
