Maybe try the Classifieds forum?

Apexi has universal muffler cannisters, 2 are N-1 style, 1 is with an 80mm inlet, the other is with a 60mm inlet. There are others like Magnaflow that make both N-1 style cannisters AND oval straight thorough cannisters as well. You might have better luck for purchasing in a forum where the topics are "for Sale" & " Wanted To buy."

Unless you are looking for advice for other similar cannisters for a custom setup. In which case a different topic title may help you alot.

Good luck,

A.

ok thanks, the problem is that I have a jdm 4-1 header and I had to weld a 2.5 collector on my stock cat to make it fit, and I think I have a power loss since the air can not go out sinc the exhaust is too small and + I have no test pipe, only stock cat

I think ill just go with a custom 2.5 inch catback with testpipe and magnaflow muffler with the stock type r tips, I like the look of the stock r exhaust+ I need something very quiet.

would a custom exhaust be good??

and an FYI, the inner diameter of those universal N1's is no where near 60 or 80mm's, its more like 1.75"s or less......

just to let you know, i have exerience with both 5zigen fireball and custom with oval muffler + resonator. and custom (eventough it sounds much nicer) is way louder than 5zigen - one reason is larger piping.

Also, find out if muffler shop is going to use stanless steel and if its mandrel bent.

And last, unless you're going to do more stuff to your car, you already have header, i'd replace stock cat with carsound 2.5 cat which will should give you gains, and wait untill you're going to push much more hp - then you'd need a less restrictive exhaust.

I'd be more worried about loosing hp with another exhaust. - these + - 1-3 hp won't do much.
