Icon6 99 Accord clutch replacement problems

Had the clutch replaced in my 99 Accord a few weeks ago. When I got it back, it was making this continuous "chirping" sound when the clutch pedal was all the way up. It would stop as soon as I put any pressure on the clutch pedal with my foot, it would stop. Of course I took it back, but the shop claimed that it just needed time to break in.

After a few weeks of time and 3 return visits, they very reluctantly agreed to take a look at it. The mechanic mumbled something about a throw-out bearing to the shop manager. They wouldn't repeat any of it to me when I asked what he meant. When I got it back that time, the chirping sounds were gone, but it had these weird springs on the exterior of the transmission in the engine compartment. The springs look jerry-rigged. I'm not a mechanic, but it raises a red flag for me. Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks,
Jeff

um wtf is that??? definitely have another shop check that out. if they mumbled the throw out bearing, then that was most likely what was bad when they checked it out, and did not want to drop the whole trans to replace that. that spring crap has got to go dude, take that back and ask them what the hell they were thinking when they put some jerry rigged crap like that there. if they refuse it or dont do something about it, take them to court with another mechanics opinion testifying that what they did was wrong. they cant be sending a car down the road with a bunch springs on it.
